About Richard Abbott
Richard Abbott has visited some of the places that feature in his historical fiction. To date, however, he has not had the opportunity of visiting anywhere outside the Earth that might feature in his futuristic writing.
Richard currently lives in Grasmere, Cumbria. When not writing, he works in the family hospitality business consisting of a guest house, pub, and distillery. He enjoys spending time with family, walking and wildlife – ideally combining all three of those pursuits at the same time. Much of the inspiration for Quarry has come while out and about in the central lakeland hills, which he loves.
